Monticello Mustangs JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-3 loss to Louisa County on Tuesday. Louisa County scored on a single by Duerson, a double by Mcdonald, an error, and a single by Villines in the first inning.

Louisa County captured the lead in the first inning. Duerson singled on a 1-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

Andrew Watson, Jacob Morris, CJ Houchens, Dylan Zimmerman, Whitfield Bradley, and Cam Townsend each managed one hit to lead Monticello Mustangs JV.

Louisa County collected 11 hits. Lamb, Mcdonald, and Straley each collected multiple hits for Louisa County. Louisa County didn’t commit a single error in the field. Mcdonald had the most chances in the field with five.
