Game Recap

GREAT SEASON MUSTANGS!!!

The Mustangs traveled to Riverside High School to take on the Rams in a state semi-final matchup with the hopes of making it to the state finals. But it wasn’t to be. The Rams showed why they are undefeated on the year as the Mustangs ran into an offensive juggernaut. The Rams displayed precise passing and shooting ability, particularly in the first half, as they jumped out to a 13-2 halftime advantage.

The Mustangs proved they deserved to be in the state final four also, never quit despite the large deficit, playing the Rams pretty evenly for the second half, but could not close the gap and ended their incredible season with an 18-6 defeat.

The Mustangs were led in scoring by Josie Mallory and Meghan Walin with 2 goals apiece. Carly Harris ended her amazing Mustang career in the goal cage with a 10 save performance.

Congratulations Mustangs on a great season. You are a very special team.

Thank you Chloe, Sydney, Kendall, McKenna, Sophia, and Carly for letting us be a part of your 4 years. Best of luck to each of you in all that you do in the future. You will be missed. Just remember, no matter where to go, or what you do, you will always be a Mustang, and you will always be a part of the first Mustang Girls Lacrosse team that qualified for states.

Yea White!!
