Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Haley Brown signs with Shenandoah University

Monticello senior Haley Brown signed today, joined by coaches, family, teammates and friends, to continue her career as a student-athlete as a member of the volleyball team at Shenandoah University.

A two-sport student-athlete at Monticello where she’s also a starting outfielder on the Mustangs softball team, Haley put up some impressive statistical numbers during her senior volleyball season this past fall.

Playing outside hitter, Haley had 92 kills this past season, along with 60 digs, 10 blocks and six aces. A true student-athlete, Haley sports a 3.96 grade point average.

What Monticello Head Volleyball Coach Meg Carpenter said… “Haley is such a hard worker and incredibly determined. It’s been such a joy coaching her. I’m so proud of her attitude and perseverance, she hasn’t let struggles get her down but instead they’ve motivated her to reach higher, and for that she will go far!”

Shenandoah University, a member of the NCAA Division III, is located in Winchester, Virginia, and is a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
