Monticello High School 2018 graduate Paige McGlothlin has been named a high school girls lacrosse All-American by US Lacrosse.
McGlothlin, who will continue her career as a student-athlete at Arizona State University, filled up the stat sheet during her recently completed senior year at Monticello. From her position at midfield, McGlothlin scored 89 goals, along with 31 assists, 101 draw controls, 46 ground balls, 27 forced turnovers and 2 interceptions.
The Mustangs finished the season with 14 wins, a VHSL Class 4 Final Four appearance and a Region 4A Championship in their first season under Head Coach Langley Sloan. McGlothlin and Sloan were named Region 4A Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively. McGlothlin was also a first team all-state Class 4 selection at midfield.
