The nationally acclaimed program, “Guiding the College-Bound Athlete”, is coming to the Monticello High School Forum on Monday, October 7 at 7:00pm.
This FREE informational seminar for student-athletes and parents of students in grades 8-12 will be presented by Rick Wire, President of Dynamite Sports. Both parents and students are encouraged to attend together. This is a powerful talk that both parents and student-athletes interested in collegiate athletics need to hear.
Come early and hungry, the Monticello Athletics Boosters Club is hosting a Pancake Dinner from 5:30-7:00pm in the Commons (right next to the Forum). The cost for dinner is $5 for adults and free for children under 5.
In addition to information on the NCAA Eligibility Center and NCAA Division I and Division II Initial Eligibility requirements, you will learn…
– How to get Recruited.
– How to Market Yourself to College Coaches.
– How to become Academically Eligible.
– How to get a Scholarship or Grant.
– How to set up College Visits.
– Why to start as early as 9th grade.
It’s not too early or too late to get informed – parents and students from 8th through 12th grade are all welcome.
